Why I Created I AM BEING | I AM BEING London
Discover the journey behind I AM BEING in London, where cacao ceremonies, yoga, sound baths, and reiki foster transformation and wellbeing. Join us.
I have always been drawn to the liminal — the in-between spaces where transformation quietly unfolds. Long before I held my first cacao ceremony, I was searching for that space. A place to land. A way of meeting myself that did not require performance or productivity.
I AM BEING was born from that search.
The moment it began
It started simply: a cacao ceremony in my living room with a handful of friends, all of us a little worn down by the relentless pace of London life. We drank together in silence. We moved. We shared, vulnerably and honestly. By the end of the evening, something had been released — not just in me, but in all of us.
I kept coming back to that feeling. And I kept being asked: when is the next one?
What I AM BEING stands for
The name itself is intentional. Not I am doing, not I am achieving — but I am being. The philosophy behind every offering I create is this: you do not have to earn your rest, your joy, or your wholeness. You are allowed to simply be in your body, in the present moment, exactly as you are.
This is radical in a culture that equates worth with output. It is also, I believe, a form of quiet resistance — and the foundation of genuine wellbeing.
The offerings
Over time, the living room grew into something more. Cacao ceremonies became a regular anchor. Sound baths were woven in — I trained with some of the finest practitioners in the UK and let the bowls teach me what words cannot. Yoga, reiki, breathwork followed, each one deepening the tapestry.
Then came the cacao itself. I began sourcing directly from ethical, small-scale farmers — ceremonial-grade cacao that is prepared with the same care and intention that I bring to every session. I wanted people to be able to take a piece of this practice home with them.
An invitation
If you have found your way here, I suspect something in you is ready to slow down. To come back to yourself. To remember that beneath all the noise, there is a stillness that is always available to you.
I would love to hold space for you in that.
With love, Gizelle
