About Us

I AM BEING is operated by I AM BEING WELLNESS Ltd (represented by Gizelle Renee), with our principal place of business at Seven Lion Yard, Tremadoc Road, London SW4 7NQ ("we", "us", "our").

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@iambeing.co.uk before proceeding.

Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted — and a contract formed — when we send you an order confirmation email.

We reserve the right to decline any order, for example if a product is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if we are unable to verify payment. In such cases, we will contact you promptly and issue a full refund if payment has already been taken.

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Payment is processed securely by Shopify. We accept major debit and credit cards. We do not store your payment card details.

If you subscribe to a recurring cacao order, your payment method will be charged at the frequency you select at checkout. You may cancel or modify your subscription at any time through your account at account.iambeing.co.uk.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch physical orders within 2–3 business days of receiving payment. Delivery times and charges are shown at checkout. For full details, please see our Shipping Policy.

Risk and ownership of goods passes to you upon delivery. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers once the order has been dispatched.

Returns and Refunds

Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms. For full details of how to return a product or cancel an order, please see our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel most physical product orders within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason.

Classes, Events and Experiences

All class and event bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once a booking confirmation has been received.

Cancellations by you — group sessions: We operate a strict 7-day cancellation policy for group sessions. Cancellations are non-refundable but may be rescheduled to a future date with at least 7 days' notice. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable and non-transferable. We are unable to offer reschedules for non-attendance without prior notice.

Cancellations by you — private sessions: Private session bookings require at least 72 hours' notice to reschedule. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable.

Late arrivals: A 10-minute grace period is offered. Out of respect for other participants and session schedules, arrivals after this point may not be admitted. The booking remains non-refundable in this case.

Cancellations by us: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a class or event, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or a credit note.

By attending our classes and events, you confirm that you are in good health and that you are aware of the nature of the practice. Please notify us of any relevant health conditions before attending. We are not liable for any injury, illness, or adverse reaction arising from participation in our classes or events. Please see our Wellness Disclaimer for full health guidance per practice.

Practitioner Training

All training programme places are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment. The Cacao Practitioner Course is completely non-refundable once a place has been confirmed. Please ensure you are able to commit to the programme before booking.

We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a training programme if minimum participant numbers are not met. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or a place on a future programme.

Digital Products

Digital products — including recordings, meditations, and downloadable resources — are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, shared, reproduced, or resold. Digital products are non-refundable once accessed or delivered.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and may be redeemed against any product or class booking on our website. Gift cards have no cash value and are non-refundable. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.

Ceremonial Cacao — Health Information

Ceremonial cacao contains theobromine and caffeine. It is not suitable for people taking MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) or certain antidepressants, people with heart conditions, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding unless approved by a healthcare provider. Please review the full product information and consult a medical professional if in doubt.

Our products are foods and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, photography, video, graphics, and brand assets — is owned by or licensed to I AM BEING and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

Our Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising from these terms or your use of our website or services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product or service.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or that arises from events outside our reasonable control.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have the right to refer disputes to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

Sustainability & Ethical Sourcing

I AM BEING aims to operate with mindfulness, integrity, and respect for people and the planet. We value ethically sourced ceremonial cacao and seek relationships that support sustainable growing practices. Where possible, we use recyclable and environmentally conscious packaging materials.
